Our Mission

The Employees and volunteers of the Lyon County Sheriff's Office will strive to work as one with the community to protect its members and visitors by contributing to safety in person, property and rights. In order to better serve the public, the Lyon County Sheriff's Office will offer additional fingerprinting services at the Dayton Station on Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. We will also offer these fingerprinting services at the Fernley Station on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This fingerprinting will be in addition to the current availability of CCW, exfelon, sex offender and brothel work cards. Please be advised that we are able to provide these services by utilizing our Volunteers In Policing program and this schedule may vary depending on staffing capability. It is also our goal to offer these services at the Sheriff's Office in Yerington once we have completed training in that office. Thank you, Undersheriff Albert Torres
